stacy millman, AIA, principal
As the founder of a small firm, Stacy takes pride in the fact that her entire client list is built from referrals. She listens to her clients, working closely with them to ensure their homes reflect their tastes and needs. With a background that includes training in architecture, interior decoration and art history, Stacy's holistic approach is unique among architects. It allows her to understand every aspect of a structure, from the furniture that fills it to the walls that define it.
Prior to founding her business in 2004, Stacy worked at several award-winning firms in Manhattan. She started her career at BBG-BBGM as a member of the design team, creating luxury hotels and spas around the world. Stacy then worked as a project architect at 1100 Architect, where she led the design and execution on multi-million dollar, residential projects throughout New York City. This experience helped hone her fresh, timeless aesthetic as well as taught her the importance of mixing function and style. From the first meeting through a project's completion - on work that ranges from a custom piece of furniture to an addition to a full home renovation - Stacy's goal is to ensure that clients are happy with not only the design but the entire experience. Stacy is a registered architect, licensed in CT.
